Dear Readers,

You bear in your hands the next special edition of Trenchless Engineering magazine designed and created especially for the NO-DIG 2005 participants and guests. The annual International NO-DIG Conference and Exhibition, held by the ISTT (International Society for Trenchless Technology), is one of the most prominent events for all the trenchless technology specialists and companies worldwide. Organising of this year's event was trusted to a Dutch society NSTT and the extraordinary city of Rotterdam was chosen for its site. This is already the 23rd NO-DIG fair. During the last year's event in Hamburg we were highly honoured by the wide interest in the previous international edition of "Trenchless Engineering" magazine. Therefore we felt obliged to publish another issue in English. While in 2004 we focused mainly on the Polish trenchless technology market, this year we have widened our area of interest to foreign companies. Our main ambition is to thoroughly introduce and present the newest trenchless technologies to all the NO-DIG 2005 participants. Inside you will find various articles concerning trenchless construction, as well as pipeline rehabilitation and all the equipment necessary for engineering. At the back of the issue we have enclosed additional data on the NO-DIG fair, such as the conference programme and the exhibitors' list. A floor plan printed inside may come in useful in order to find an interesting stand or lecture. We truly believe that this year's exhibition will be equally successful as the former ones and as fruitful for everybody's business. For our magazine we hope to be of use for the readers and an additional way to enjoy the Rotterdam's NO-DIG event. We appreciate all kinds of feedback to help us prepare the next edition for the Australian conference.
